Let’s talk about fall family pictures in Salt Lake City! Fall is often people’s favorite time to get outside and get their family photos done. The weather is cooler, the sun starts to set earlier, and the colors shift to gorgeous neutral colors. I love taking family photos in the fall, and I am so excited for the upcoming autumn season of family photos!
This family session is one of my favorites from last fall. When I found this location near Salt Lake City, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for fall family photos. The mountain view behind the open field is , in my opinion, the best location for autumn family photos. The tall grass photographs beautifully and the light catches the mountains just right. It’s a great option if you like a more neutral location for your fall family photos.
I love the colors this family chose to wear. Since the backdrop was fairly neutral, Mom’s red-colored dress contrasted beautifully. If you choose a more colorful location, I suggest choosing neutrals and textured clothing so that it complements the backdrop.
