Springtime is just around the corner, and I can hardly wait! While winter can be so beautiful, every year I anticipate spring. It’s my favorite season here in Utah. It brings a burst of color and a renewed sense of energy that I look forward to throughout the winter. Spring is one of my favorite and busiest seasons for taking family photos, for good reason. I can’t wait to tell you why I love spring family photos.
Beautiful Scenery
I love it when families choose to take spring family photos in Utah. Utah is stunning in the spring! The state offers a diverse array of landscapes, from blooming wildflower fields in the valley to beautiful cherry blossoms. Some of my favorite locations to shoot at are best in the spring, like this beautiful family session in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley. Beautiful Light + Shooting Time
Springtime in Utah means the sun stays out longer, but not as late as the summer months. Something my clients love about spring photos is they can get the beautiful green trees and wildflowers without keeping their babies up past bedtime. The warm and comfortable temperatures make it ideal weather to take your family photos. I like to plan each shoot during the golden hours of the day in the late afternoon. The beautiful sunlight during sunset helps create stunning light that comes through the trees just right!
