Ellie and Easton’s engagement session was nothing short of pure magic. As a Utah Couples photographer, this kind of session makes me so giddy. We laughed, we took amazing images, and I could feel their love for each other radiating form them the whole time.

The entire morning I was checking and refreshing the weather app and texting them back and forth debating whether we should reschedule their shoot or not, because it was snowing all over Utah! One stressful part of being a photographer, especially in Utah, is constantly checking the weather before a shoot. After hours of deliberation, we decided to go for it, and oh man am I glad that we did. The misty background was the perfect scene to document their beautiful love story. They get married in about a week and I am so giddy!

I met Ellie on our first day of Kindergarten years and years ago. She has always been absolutely one-of-a-kind and everyone who meets her knows it. She’s an advocate for self-love and is extremely influential and kind to everyone around her. When she told me she was dating Easton, I knew he had to be wonderful too to deserve someone as amazing as Ellie, and I was right!

These two met on a service trip to Cambodia when they were in high school, they admitted that they were both really interested in each other, but the timing wasn’t right at the time, Easton was about to leave on his mission. They stayed in touch throughout Easton’s mission, Ellie’s freshman year of college, and Ellie’s church mission. After Ellie came home, they started dating and are now the most beautiful, in-love couple. I was so honored when they asked me to take their engagement photos.

I love how every single image looks and I am beyond excited for their wedding day in May.
