If you know me, you know I am a sucker for a family session in the canyon! These family photos up Little Cottonwood canyon are to die for. I love the outfits this family chose for the backdrop, they stand out perfectly without seeming out of place. We giggled and played to get the kids’ energy out and admired the golden light coming through the trees. It was magic and I love the lifestyle images we created!

This location is one of my favorites in Utah! It is amazing in the summer and fall, and even in the winter after a fresh blanket of snow hits the ground. To achieve this perfect “in between” summer and fall color, it’s best to book your family session at this location for mid to late September, depending on the year. I love how the trees still have some beautiful green in addition to the early-Autumn yellow. It’s the best of both worlds! So, if you get your family photos done here, you won’t regret it!
